Counter protection reads body keypoints against zone boundaries, firing the moment a hand crosses from the customer side into the cash area. Asset watch anchors on valuable objects — laptops, bags, equipment — and alerts when one disappears while a person is in frame.
Pattern detection flags pickpocket-style behavior: sustained close proximity between people that doesn't match normal movement. Every alert carries the snapshot and camera, journaled locally before delivery.
Counter theft and a walking-away asset both happen in seconds, and by the time anyone reviews the footage, both the thief and the recovery window are gone.
