A dedicated detector tracks vehicles or large floor products — motorcycles, appliances, machinery — across configured entry and exit lines, completely separate from the people-counting layer. Showrooms moving stock need a different count than showrooms measuring footfall.
Every crossing is timestamped and directional, giving a running in/out total per hour that matches what's actually on the floor — useful for stock reconciliation as much as traffic analysis.
Foot-traffic counters miss the metric showroom managers actually need: how many units physically moved in and out today — and manual stock logs lag reality by hours.
